I worship Hel, i adore the Norse mythology and Hel inspires me alot. Im getting a tattoo to represent her sometime that my friend drew for me. But i really like this, i love how huge you made Garm. Have you heard of her horse/stead? Its a rotten horse called Helhest. It'd be interesting if you drew her with that ^.^

Norse mythology sure is one of the most inspirational ones. The characters are a great practice for the both of us. I've learned a lot from digital painting whilst working with these pieces, and at the moment, this one here (being the latest, heh) is my absolute favourite.
I've never heard of Helhest before, but Hel having a stead actually makes sense. Maybe we'll draw both Helheim and Sleipnir next! So much to draw, so little time (in fact I've been dying to draw Nuckelavee some day, maybe I'll get to that soon, too).

Loki on kyllä aikamoinen, tarkoituksena olisi jossakin välissä tehdä perhepotretti kaikista. Kunhan Jörmungandrinkin vain saisi mahdutettua johonkin ilman, että kaikki muut näyttävät kärpäsiltä. Maailman ympäri yltävä käärme kun tuppaa saamaan muut näyttämään pieniltä.

This reminds me that I was supposed to pick up norwegian mythology and read about it, oh.. a year or a few ago?! Well now is a good time, so I can get more out of these lovely pieces. And who wouldn't love some hardcore scandinavian gods anyways.

You're absolutely right about that one, sir. And when you're done reading and all awestruck, you can draw some fanart of our versions of Huginn and Muninn or Gere and Freki! A great plan, don't you agree?
